Before you hear from Lacey about how this business has transformed her life, we wanted to share our story with you— we’re Rachel and Kale. Parents of two, business partners, cycle-breakers… and two people who got real tired of being told, “this is just what adulting looks like.”

We found this business in 2023 — not because we were bored or trying to “be our own boss,” but because we were desperate for another way. Rachel was working as a nurse, drowning in long shifts and the thought of missing bedtimes, birthdays, and all the little moments that actually matter. Kale was in sales — successful, sure — but quietly wondering if chasing quotas for the next 30 years was really it.

Spoiler: it wasn’t.

We started this business while life was (and still is!) loud and chaotic — in the in-between moments, during nap time and after bedtime, squeezing it in wherever we could. We didn’t wait for perfect timing. We just knew we couldn’t keep living for two days a week and calling it freedom.

Rachel dove in first with Kale backing her — and it didn’t take long before we realized we were better doing this together. We’re wired differently, but we’ve got a shared mission: build a life that actually feels good. One where our family gets our best — not our leftovers.

This business gave us more than income. It gave us vision. Ownership. Options. We’re building toward a future where we travel the world with our kids, design and build our dream home, stay rooted in health, and raise kids who think big because they saw us do it first.

People questioned us. Some still do.
